Long before I was inspired to put my experience and passion into this project, I was a confused, struggling musician just like you. I searched for and devoured every book, course and blog I could find to learn the mysterious world of music marketing. Many sources were free, but i also spent 1000’s of dollars on online courses claiming to be the only information I would ever need. Some were good though not comprehensive. Most were bad and clearly not written from the perspective of actual artists. They all had one thing in common: terrible presentations. The material was disorganized, poorly written and illustrated and lacked the writing style to keep an audience interested and engaged.
I knew there was an opportunity for me to make a real contribution to the tribe of people I identified with most: independent musicians. I resolved to take my knowledge and experience and synthesize it into the most comprehensive, well organized and most beautifully illustrated guide to independent music marketing that’s ever been written.
The result is the summation of my 25 years experience creating, performing and marketing my music in one of the most challenging and turbulent industries you can find, the music business.
